Get ready for four days packed with thrills, teamwork, and unforgettable outdoor experiences in the heart of Vail Village! Now celebrated as the premier adventure race series for youth, the Kids Adventure Games return to Vail August 7–10.

Who Can Compete?

Open to teams of two kids aged 6–14, with waves organized into:

• Beginner (ages 6–9)

• Intermediate (ages 8–11)

• Expert (ages 10–14)

Race Format & Obstacles

• Courses span 3.5 miles, featuring 10–12 obstacles blending natural terrain and inventive challenges.

• Waves capped at 42 teams, starting in two‑minute intervals to ensure smooth flow.

Not Just a Race

• Skills Clinics are offered —ideal preparation or supplement to the race experience.

• Family Mud Run, a festive mile-long mud obstacle race open to all ages, happening Saturday, August 9 at 4:30 PM in Mountain Plaza by Gondola One. Costumes encouraged!

• Balance Bike Race kicks off Thursday, August 7 for kids aged five and under, beginning at 9 AM, with practice runs and racing from 9:30 AM onward.

Included with Registration

Every race entry includes:

• Two athlete shirts and swag bags

• Finisher medals

• Eligibility for age- and category-based prizes, as well as special awards for sportsmanship, team spirit, and environmental stewardship.

Important Logistics & Gear

• Bib pickup/check-in: Thursday–Saturday evenings from 4:00–6:00 PM at Gondola 1 area (Express Lift / Mountain Plaza). Pre-checking in the day before is highly encouraged to avoid race‑day stress.

• Mandatory gear includes bike, helmet, gloves, rain jacket, and shorts. Harnesses and life jackets are provided on-site.

• All participants must complete online waivers (and a printed Vail waiver required at check-in).
